We will continue our 2nd PYP Planner “The Big O”
Activities
-Read aloud, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Students sequence the story and create their own The Very Hungry Kindergartner, small book. The kids will make and eat own butterflies.
-Read aloud, The Pigs on a Blanket. Students will create an animal clock.
-Read aloud, Have You Seen My Cat? Students will write their own cat stories and make a cat using sponge painting to create texture.
-Read aloud, The Grouchy Ladybug. Students work on telling time to the hour and half hour.
-Read aloud, Papa Please Get the Moon for Me, students will create their moon.
-Writers words- look yes my
Please practice writing sight words, creating sentences and stories with your child daily!
-Journal all week!

Math
-Activities involving telling time, patterns, number operations and measurement.
