Our 2nd PYP Planner
October 17th thru 21st

We are beginning our PYP Planner:
Activities:
-Read alouds, The Mixed Up Alphabet, What Makes a Rainbow, Me on the Map, I Pledge Allegiance, Pigsty, If You Give A Pig A Pancake, If You Take A Mouse To School, and If You Give A Moose A Muffin.
-Students will make their own rainbow
-Students will create a map of their day
-Students will complete their page of a class book related to the stories.
-Students will create a Map of their day (before-during-after school)
-Journal ALL Week!
-Sight Words: by in on
Please practice writing sight words, creating sentences and stories with your child daily.
-Phonics Poem – “Finger Play”

Math:
-Activities include number operations, algebraic thinking, measurement, geometry, and problem solving.

Information:
-Me Museum was a HUGE SUCCESS!!! Thanks to ALL Parents that helped make this an amazing showcase!
-Please send in your box tops!
-Picture Day! (Tues. 10-18th)
-Spooky Spaghetti is Sat. (10-22nd) 4:00 – 8:00pm
