Fire Safety

Safety
October 31th thru Nov. 4th


Activities :
-Read aloud, Curious George and the Firefighters, students practice dialing 911, and discuss Fire Safety.
--Read aloud, Don’t Talk to Strangers, students discuss Stranger Danger, and role play various situations.
-Read aloud, Officer Buckle and Gloria. Students write their own safety tip.
-Other read alouds, include Stop Drop and Roll, A Very Busy Firehouse, Emergency, and Dot the Fire Dog.

-Journal all week!
-Writers words: call your our
-PLEASE Practice writing, spelling, and creating sentences using these words with your child daily.



Math :
-Activities include graphing, money, patterns, estimation, and number operations.

Information :

-Fire Station Field Trip (Wed. 11-2nd @ 9:00-11:00am) Parent Volunteers are welcomed!
*Please send a sack lunch!
-Parent Conferences are Wed. 11-9th & Early Dismissal!
-We are collecting white button down dress shirts for our upcoming SCIENCE LAB DAY! Please send (1) for your child no later than Friday, 11-4th. Thanks!
