Project Week
Sept. 26th thru Oct. 7th


Activities:
We will finish our 1st PYP Planner, “All About Me” next week.
-Read aloud, Me First, I’m Gonna Like Me, and Elmer
-Me/We book, students work in pairs to complete their page of a class book.
-Life size self portraits.
-Students will complete their own personal “Rainbow of Me!”
-Students will write and illustrate to complete “My Me Map!”
-Students will complete a symmetry project.
-Me Museum: All parents are invited to attend our Me Museum, Oct. 7th (8:00am – 9:00am). Plan to let your child show you all of their AMAZING work!
-LDC All Week!
-Sight Words: go be me

Math:
-Activities include number operations, patterns, and quantitative reasoning, geometric shapes, and symmetry.

Information:
-Homework Project ( Me Poster!)
Please send to school no later than next week. Your child will present his/her poster to the class.
-Field trip to The Children’s Museum tomorrow (9-27th).
Please bring a sack lunch!
-Wed. (9-28th) is our Class Party (7:45am to 8:15am). Hope to see everyone there.
-Fall Holiday (Thurs. 9-29th) NO SCHOOL!
-Free Dress Friday!
-Thanks for making our Kinder Pizza Party a HUGE SUCCESS!
-Thanks to ALL Parents that have volunteered, donated treasure chest toys, snacks, etc. All of your efforts are GREATLY APPRECIATED!
